This Privacy Policy describes how SR Policy Tracker ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide:

• Agency code, name, phone number, email (during registration)
• Client details (name, phone, address, DOB) that you enter
• Policy information you add or import
• Profile photo (stored locally on device)

b) Automatically collected:

• Device ID (randomly generated UUID for device binding — not hardware ID)
• App version number

c) We do NOT collect:

• Location data
• Contacts (unless you explicitly use the Import Contacts feature)
• Call logs, SMS, camera data
• Analytics or advertising identifiers
• Browsing history

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: Agency code and password to verify your identity
• Device binding: To prevent unauthorized access from multiple devices
• Cloud backup: Encrypted database backup to our server (optional, user-initiated)
• App functionality: Display client/policy data, premium reminders, reports

3. Data Storage

• Local storage: All client and policy data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted SQLite database
• Server storage: Only your registration details (name, phone, agency code, company) and encrypted backup files are stored on our server
• Backup encryption: Cloud backups are AES-256 encrypted before upload

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, rent, or trade your personal data with any third parties. Your data is never used for advertising purposes.

5. Data Security

• All server communication uses HTTPS encryption
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
• Cloud backups are AES-256 encrypted
• Device binding prevents unauthorized access
• Authentication tokens are securely stored on device

6. Permissions Used

• Internet: For login, registration, cloud backup, and fetching app configuration
• Storage: For local backup export/import
• Camera: For profile photo and document scanning (optional)
• Contacts: Only when you use "Import from Contacts" feature (optional)
• Notifications: For premium due date reminders

7. Children's Privacy

This app is designed for insurance agents (adults). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights

• You can export all your data anytime (Backup feature)
• You can delete your account by contacting support
• You can request deletion of your server data
• Uninstalling the app removes all local data

9. Data Retention

Your data remains on our server as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all associated data (registration info, backups) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

10. Third-Party Services

• Google ML Kit (on-device): Used for OCR text recognition from policy photos. Processing happens entirely on your device — no data is sent to Google.
• Google Play In-App Updates: To notify you of available updates.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
